The great Electric CatBox… my old bar band and one of my favoritest things I’ve ever been a part of.
Bob Boling (bass) and I were playing in a cover band called A Donner Party with Kati Texas on vocals, but we always talked about doing a straight-ahead, original rock band.
We were fortunate enough to get Nate Benbow on drums, when he wasn’t busy with Rooster McClintock, and we had our sound.
We never got to make a studio album with Nate, so presented here are some songs (not all) from our very last practice, just a few hours before our very last show, going through the set list in my living room.
The first half is in standard tuning, then we play the rest of the show in dropped D.
